Job Description
Our client, an industrial manufacturing company with a 100+ year history, is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their growing office in downtown Chicago! This position will have the opportunity to grow long term into a senior/manager role and help them build out processes for the team.
This position offers a competitive base salary of up to $75,000 and competitive benefits. This role will be on site 2-3 days a week and have work from home flexibility.
Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

Heavy involvement in monthly close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations

Responsible for the oversight of financial results and analysis of assigned plants

Assist in internal management reporting and analysis

Development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures specifically for fixed asset and prepaid accounting
Staff Accountant Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting
-
1+ years of accounting experience or internship experience
-
Experience within manufacturing is a plus
-
Strong Excel skills
-
Strong communication, leadership skills, go-getter
