Job Description
The Senior Manager, ERP Systems is primarily responsible for planning, organization, management, design, delivery, maintenance and support of the back office ERP application, JD Edwards, and its related systems (DSI, EDI, Oracle EPM Cloud). The position reports to the Director, Enterprise Applications and manages a team of 3 internal team members and varying amounts of external vendor partners in the delivery of the services.


Senior Manager, ERP Systems Responsibilities:
  • Ensure stable operations for Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service
  • Consult on application solutions for new business units
  • Lead ERP application development and support for various business units
  • Provide customer-focused support with a focus on issue resolution
  • Enhance IT General Controls and document standard operating procedures
  • Manage third-party partners and monitor performance
  • Perform problem tracking, post-mortems and action item follow-up
  • Collaborate with the program management office for technology project delivery
  • Align requirements and solutions with business influencers
  • Champion system updates for continuous improvement
  • Review and negotiate project-related vendor contracts
  • Implement strategies and enhancements to increase employee productivity
  • Manage a team in delivering ERP solutions and related applications
  • Operate transparently and communicate effectively
  • Build strong technology vendor partnerships

Senior Manager, ERP Systems Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field
  • 10+ years in managing application development teams
  • 5+ years in manufacturing, consumer products and distribution industries
  • 5+ years in delivering large strategic projects
  • Experience with JD Edwards delivery team is preferred
