Job Description
LaSalle Network is currently partnering with an insurance company to identify a Sr. Database Developer to join their team. The Sr. Database Developer will assist with the development and data analytics team migrate their legacy database to Azure.
This position reports to the Manager of Application Development and operates on a hybrid schedule out of the company's office in Rolling Meadows, IL.
Sr. Database Developer Responsibilities:
- Direct, prepare, design, code, test, debug and maintain complex computer programs
- Under general direction, formulate and define system scope and objectives
- Work with users to support business applications and investigate operational problems/system requirements
- Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results
- Refine business requirements from which programs will be written
- Design, code, test, debug and document those programs
- Responsible for completion of development projects
Sr. Database Developer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business or related field
- Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Explorer, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps and Azure Data Lake
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Experience integrating with API’s
