Job Description

LaSalle Network has partnered with a big named brand within the consumer goods space to find a Social Media Specialist. This Social Media Specialist will create and manage organic social media campaigns for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and TikTok.

With an office located in the heart of downtown Chicago, this Social Media Specialist will work alongside a team of marketers in creating best in class, creative social media campaigns. Social Media Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Create organic social media campaigns (including copy and creative) on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok
  • Manage community engagement on all social media platforms
  • Communicate and engage with relevant influencers to promote their products to the appropriate audiences
  • Work regularly with a social media content calendar
  • Report on social media KPI's
  • Manage freelance talent to assist in copywriting and creative social media campaign building 

Social Media Specialist Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience with social media marketing
  • Experience creating organic social media campaigns in a corporate setting
  • Experience with social media management tools 
  • Expertise in creating social media content calendars 
  • Strong organization and project management skill
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Background in B2C environment, preferably consumer goods or agency
