Job Description

LaSalle Network is partnering with a healthcare company in the western suburbs of Chicago that is actively hiring for a Service Desk Technician. The ideal candidate is looking to enter the IT space with little to no experience, is willing to learn and loves working in a team-based environment. The Service Desk Technician position will be the first point of contact for any and all IT support needs. Strong verbal and written skills as well as a positive attitude are a must for this opportunity.

 

Service Desk Technician Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot IT issues for desktops, printers, workstations
  • Provide level 1 support to the main office, as well as other offices/hospitals within the network
  • Set up workstations around the office
  • Escalate tickets to level 2 Service Desk Technicians

 

Service Desk Technician Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of customer service experience
  • Professional demeaner
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely
  • High level of organizational and reliability skills
  • 1-2 years of IT experience preferred, or equivalent education
