Hiring Manager: Daniel Guinto

Location: 1400 Shore Road, Naperville 60563

  • 100% Remote for the 5am - 1:30pm shift (12am - 8am availability required)
  • 100% Onsite for the 7am - 3pm shift
  • Remote/Onsite for the 3pm - 10:30pm shift

Job Title: Service Desk Technician

Duration: Contract-To-Hire (Length TBD)

Compensation:

  • Hourly Pay Rate: $21-23/hour
  • Hourly Bill Rate: up to $40/hour

How many spots? 2 openings

What we are looking for (“How do we pitch/sell this role”): Mechdyne is looking for 2 overnight Help Desk Candidates who can do a 12am-9am shift (lunch is included) who have 3+ years of experience. This is a 100% remote role and is mainly work on your own. There is a supervisor, but no direct manager. These candidates must be able to resolve 60% of the tickets assigned to them and have an understanding on how to properly escalate tickets if required.

Training: TBD

Report to/Team: Reports to Daniel Guinto. There are 7 other managers during the daytime. There is a supervisor if assistance is required, but no direct manager during the overnight shift. There are also 60 other IT Support members on the team.
 

Top Skills Needed:

  • Must Have(s):
    • 3+ years in an IT Support role
    • Ticketing system experience
  • Ideal/Preferred:
    • Knowledge of troubleshooting the following:
      • Modems
      • VPNs
      • Printers
      • Wifi
      • Routers
