Job Description

Seeking a hybrid position, with 6 days a month in office, for the next step in your tax career with a publicly traded company? LaSalle Network is partnering with this multi-billion dollar CPG company based near Naperville, IL looking for multiple Senior Tax Analysts to sit on their federal and indirect team. This company has had over 100% growth in their stock price over the past 5 years and their tax team is growing!
 
The ideal candidate has 3-6 years of experience in domestic income tax, sales and use tax, and business license renewals. Our client offers a competitive base salary of up to $95,000 with a 12% bonus.
 
Federal Senior Tax Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end federal income tax provision
  • Prepare federal tax compliance and federal tax accounting related items
  • Prepare and gather documentation for financial external reporting auditors
  • Prepare monthly transfer pricing analysis and journal entries
  • Prepare legal entity maintenance and new account analysis
  • Lead process to ensure all SOX control documentation is complete
  • Provide support for various tax planning initiatives

Federal Senior Tax Analyst Requirements:
  • Experience testing SOX controls
  • Knowledge of ASC740
  • Past experience preparing monthly, quarterly and annual provisions and support tax planning and research during off seasons
     
Indirect Senior Tax Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Process license renewals and new store openings for position’s assigned states
  • Prepare and file and monitor annual reports that are assigned
  • Prepare budgets and forecasting for indirect tax
  • Prepare property tax filings. 
  • Work in OneSource for property tax returns
  • Support sales and use returns and pulling workpapers

Indirect Senior Tax Analyst Requirements:
  • Experience working on sales and use tax returns and supporting business license renewals in multiple states
  • Experience with property tax returns and personal property tax
