Job Description

Our client is a global supply chain provider looking for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst that will oversee all forecasting, planning and analytics for one of their largest clients. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to join a dynamic team that works collaboratively in supporting continuous supply and promotion events and marketing strategies across several categories and business units.

Senior Supply Chain Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Use historical data from major departments to determine cost trends and analysis for forecasting for future planning especially with promotions and special projects based on client needs
  • Plan replenishment of inventory, forecast for future needs
  • Determine and monitor key performance metrics that include inventory turn, fill rate and service levels
  • Communicate project strategy to client, suppliers and supply partners to ensure plan execution
  • Work collaboratively with different category groups on special projects and promotions
  • Handle high level relationships with suppliers and distribution to ensure deliverables on capacity analysis, scenario planning, forecast increases and excess as well as logistics of product from start to finish

Senior Supply Chain Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, accounting or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, procurement, financial reporting
  • Knowledge of JDA/JDE and exposure to SAP/Oracle
  • Prior experience with SQL and Tableau are required
  • Interpersonal skills to collaborate internally with multiple teams as well as externally with customer communication and interaction
