Senior Manager, Financial Reporting – Commercial Real Estate Responsibilities:
- Own the consolidated IFRS reporting for over $30 billion in assets, overseeing financial analysis and disclosures for public reporting
- Lead the financial reporting for various fund and joint venture arrangements under GAAP
- Manage relationships with parent entity, acting as the key point of contact for all financial matters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless, accurate and timely financial reporting
- Drive automation and process improvements, contributing to the continuous enhancement of financial systems
- Oversee and mentor a team of seven financial professionals, guiding their growth while ensuring the timely completion of key deliverables
- Provide insights to senior leadership on financial results and key metrics like NOI and FFO
- Innovate by supporting a two-year project to implement a cutting-edge enterprise reporting system
Senior Manager, Financial Reporting – Commercial Real Estate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA required
- 7+ years of experience in accounting, with 4+ years in public accounting (Big Four preferred)
- Expertise in GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a significant plus
- Proven leadership in managing teams of 5+, with exceptional coaching and development skills
- Strategic thinker with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and commitment to achieving goals
- Exceptional project management skills and ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects
- Experience in technical accounting research, particularly with consolidation principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
- Real estate industry experience is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with OneStream, JDE, and/or Yardi is a plus
