We’re on the hunt for a Senior IT SOX Manager to take ownership of a high-impact internal controls function. In this role, you'll lead a dynamic team overseeing SOX IT controls, partnering across business lines and with external auditors to drive excellence in a complex, fast-evolving financial services environment. You’ll provide strategic oversight of a robust SOX program, ensuring compliance and clarity in a multi-entity structure. Senior IT SOX Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead and evolve the IT SOX program to align with new technologies and organizational changes

  • Oversee IT SOX testing efforts and manage third-party testing partners

  • Act as a key liaison with external auditors and internal stakeholders

  • Support system implementation risk assessments and control evaluations

  • Facilitate IT SOX documentation reviews and walkthroughs with business partners

  • Contribute to quarterly reporting and SOX program administration

  • Evaluate SOC 1 reports and their impact on financial reporting

Senior IT SOX Manager Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of experience in IT audit, SOX controls, or compliance

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in MIS, Computer Science, or related; Finance/Accounting considered with IT experience

  • Experience managing third-party testers or internal audit teams

  • Knowledge of large-scale systems, ERP implementations, or M&A integrations

  • Understanding of PCAOB standards and internal control frameworks

  • Financial services or banking experience a plus
