Join our clients' dynamic team as a Senior Health & Safety Specialist, a critical role supporting our client’s East Wisconsin Rapids food manufacturing plant. With over 400 employees, this plant is a hub of activity and safety is a top priority. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the wellbeing of the staff, working closely with leadership and the entire workforce to foster a culture of safety.

This role is based in East Wisconsin Rapids, WI and offers relocation services.

Senior Health and Safety Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures for food manufacturing operations
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across manufacturing facilities
  • Lead and participate in incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective action plans are developed and implemented
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures for the facility
  • Ensure all employees are familiar with safety regulations and food safety standards
  • Analyze accident reports and suggest improvements to prevent future incidents
  • Track and report on key safety performance indicators, including injury rates, near misses, and compliance issues
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations

Senior Health and Safety Specialist Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Advanced Health & Safety Certification(s), and/or equivalent combination of qualifications and health & safety experience
  • Professional certification, such as CSP, ASP, or accredited Health and Safety Certification, is required or in process
  • 5+ years of Health & Safety experience
  • Food manufacturing experience preferred
  • ISO Management Systems experience is preferred
