Job Description

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is looking to hire a Senior Food Processing Engineering Manager to oversee the entire engineering organization at a large plant. This position is open due to the plant doubling in size.

This Senior Food Processing Engineering Manager will manage personnel as well as cross functional projects and will evaluate plant efficiencies. The company is looking for a dynamic and high potential engineering professional with passions for career advancement and process improvement.

Senior Food Processing Engineering Manager Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate the pace of implementation of current and future process improvement programs
  • Identify the current status of food production equipment and specify and design new system or equipment additions
  • Support any critical and urgent project/effort by defining scope, budget, time, and overseeing completion
  • Train operators on any new or upgraded equipment
  • Improve uptime and lower maintenance cost by maintaining assets optimally in the maintenance cycle
  • Assist to reduce food processing related incidents and risks
  • Process safety compliance and oversight for engineering including contractors
  • Support of pro-active safety training, detailed and standardized LOTO procedures

Senior Food Processing Engineering Manager Requirements:
  • Food processing and engineering management experience
  • Food industry experience required
  • Must have worked in plant environment
