Job Description
LaSalle Network has partnered with dynamic and rapidly growing beauty and cosmetics company dedicated to delivering high-quality products that empower individuals to express their unique beauty. With a commitment to innovation and a diverse portfolio of brands, they are looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to play a crucial role in overseeing merchandise and brand strategy. This position offers a competitive starting salary of up to $105,000 plus bonus.

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a lead role in shaping the financial strategies for merchandise and brand development. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, merchandising and brand strategy to support and drive growth.

Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, to support merchandise and brand strategy decisions
  • Develop financial models to assess the profitability and ROI of new product launches, marketing campaigns and other strategic initiatives
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement merchandise and brand strategies that align with the company's goals and market positioning
  • Evaluate product performance and make data-driven recommendations for assortment changes, pricing strategies and SKU optimization
  • Monitor brand performance and suggest improvements to strengthen brand identity and market presence
  • Provide actionable insights to senior management by preparing reports, presentations and dashboards
  • Regularly review KPIs and key metrics to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
  • Continuously assess the financial health and performance of the merchandise and brand portfolio
  • Identify potential financial risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies
  • Assist in developing and maintaining financial controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and Product Development, to align financial goals with overall business objectives
  • Mentor and support junior financial analysts as needed

Senior Financial Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, merchandise strategy or brand strategy within the beauty and cosmetics industry
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis and business intelligence tools
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive mindset
