Location: Bedford Park, IL (Hybrid – 3-4 days/week)
Compensation: $90,000–$110,000 base salary

About the Role:
Due to continued growth and evolving business needs, this newly created Senior Accountant role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of key financial processes and work closely with leadership. The position sits within a mid-sized, high-performing accounting team and reports directly to the VP/CFO. The focus will be on financial reporting and consolidations across multiple entities, while also supporting broader accounting and tax functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to make a visible impact within a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage monthly financial reporting and consolidations
- Oversee intercompany transactions across multiple entities
- Contribute to corporate accounting tasks including journal entries and reconciliations
- Research and present updates on new GAAP developments
- Support quarterly and year-end tax functions, including accruals, estimates, and coordination with external auditors
- Provide input on potential consolidations tools
- Perform various accounting and reporting tasks using advanced Excel functions
- 4–5+ years of accounting experience, with hands-on financial reporting and consolidations experience (beyond basic intercompany work)
- Candidates must bring a corporate background or a mix of public and corporate
- Exposure to tax work is a strong plus
- Experience in the insurance or services industry is helpful, but not required
- Strong Excel skills; experience with Sage 100 is a plus
