Our client is a renowned CPG organization and one of the world's largest spirits producers. They are currently seeking a Senior Brand Manager in their NYC office.  In this role, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and external agencies to develop compelling plans that elevate this prestigious global portfolio of spirits. This role includes ownership of key regional and global projects, with the autonomy to drive major decisions.

Senior Brand Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the national portfolio strategy on an exciting and prestigious portfolio, delivering compelling brand programs and experiences that elevate brand equity and meet annual KPIs on volume/sales/profit growth objectives
  • Lead brand building efforts for the spirits portfolio, sharpening the regional strategy and elevating brand experiences to build and strengthen strong consumer connections
  • Deliver market-relevant insights to Global brand teams to drive strategic alignment and portfolio optimization further
  • Analyze key business metrics (brand equity, consumer sentiment, distribution, velocity, profitability, pricing, etc.). Prepare analysis and make recommendations for action
  • Complete detailed budget management and forecasting, working closely with finance partners to actively and accurately monitor ROI and spending based on critical brand and business objectives based on brand and portfolio objectives
  • Lead strategic and annual brand planning

Senior Brand Manager Requirements:
  • 4+ years of consumer marketing experience within CPG or luxury/premium goods or spirits
  • Proven ability to execute with excellence on brand objectives with a passion to continuously learn and improve
  • Self-starter with an ability to handle many priorities at once, manage through ambiguity in a new strategic role within the organization
  • Experience leading a portfolio of brands as a local lead in a Global organization
  • Proven ability to analyze and diagnose brand and market performance
  • Experience working in or with commercial sales or field marketing is a plus
  • Experience with the beverage alcohol industry and/or three-tiered distribution system a plus (soft drinks, beer and other wholesale-distributed products)
