LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading consumer goods company at the heart of downtown Chicago and is assisting with the hiring of a highly skilled Senior Accounts Receivable Manager to lead the AR team and optimize credit and collections processes. Senior Accounts Receivable Manager Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the Accounts Receivable (AR) team, ensuring efficient billing, collections, and cash application processes
  • Develop and implement AR policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce outstanding receivables
  • Analyze AR performance metrics, monitor aging reports, and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce DSO
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve disputes and enhance customer payment experience
  • Assess and manage credit risk by establishing customer credit limits and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and leverage technology to streamline AR functions
  • Mentor, train, and develop the AR team to ensure high performance and professional growth

Senior Accounts Receivable Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 7+ years of accounts receivable experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of AR processes, credit management, and collections strategies
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead a team effectively
  • Experience in the consumer goods industry is a plus
