This is an immediate opportunity to contribute to billing, reporting, tax support, and general ledger activity while collaborating across departments. We’re looking for a quick learner who thrives in high-volume environments and wants to make an immediate impact.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Lead client billing and invoicing cycles across U.S. and Canadian entities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports for internal stakeholders
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including journal entries and roll-forwards
- Support monthly close and year-end procedures
- Assist with tax filings and audit prep documentation
- Reconcile bank transactions and oversee cash and vendor payments
- Produce ad-hoc reports and support client request tracking via Workday
- 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a professional services environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficiency in Workday Financials strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (SUMIF, Pivot Tables, reconciliation tracking)
- Understanding of GAAP, cash-basis reporting, and internal controls
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience working with U.S. and Canadian financials a plus
