Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

Support and manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions

Prepare and analyze detailed account reconciliations, maintaining SOX compliance

Develop monthly reporting packages with comprehensive financial analysis

Liaise with internal/external auditors and other business units on accounting issues

Assist in the implementation of new FASB/GAAP standards and special projects
Senior Accountant Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (MBA and/or CPA preferred)

4-7 years of accounting experience, ideally with public accounting or energy sector exposure

Strong technical accounting knowledge (FASB, GAAP, SOX)

Proven project management and process improvement skills

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
