Senior Accountant Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting within a 3-day close period
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and corporate close activities
- Maintain compliance with US GAAP and internal financial policies
- Collaborate with the corporate office on financial reporting and analysis
- Support the transition to the Epicor ERP system (prior experience not required)
- Assist in financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Provide support for audits and tax filings as needed
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
Senior Accountant Requirements
- CPA certification is required
- 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Previous exposure to ERP systems (Epicor experience is a plus but not required)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to work on-site in Sarasota, FL, five days a week
