Job Description
Our client, a leading medical equipment distributor, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant on the corporate accounting team. They are seeking a highly professional who is a self-starter, has strong initiative and drive and is capable of working both independently and in a team environment.

The Senior Accountant will handle month-end functions, assists with creating internal controls and process improvements and assists with the implementation of NetSuite. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role is budgeted for $75,000-$95,000 annual base salary.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:  
  • Manage month end close processes including balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, variance analysis
  • Lead automating and streamlining key accounting processes and functions
  • Preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Review the work of junior staff members and AP/AR teams
  • Provide audit support

Senior Accountant Requirements:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 3+ years of corporate or public accounting experience
  • NetSuite experience
  • “Self-starter” personality with an ability to drive implementation projects
