Job Description

Are you ready to lead the charge in driving Salesforce adoption to new heights? We're seeking a dynamic Salesforce Architect to join our client’s team. This position will focus on holistic development, precise implementation and strategic management of various platform components. As you nurture toolset utilization, you'll play an integral role in fulfilling customer objectives while collaborating with key stakeholders across our client’s organization. This position reports to the Director of Enterprise Applications within the IT organization.

Salesforce Architect Responsibilities:

  • Craft an ambitious, forward-thinking vision and strategy for the Salesforce platform, charting its course for future growth and scalability
  • Develop a comprehensive grasp of business requirements and objectives, aligning them with the capabilities of the Salesforce platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring business objectives are harmonized and the strategy is executed effectively within corporate technology platforms
  • Lead and guide team members involved in, Pardot, Salesforce Communities and website integrations, providing them with the direction needed for success
  • Utilize performance metrics and data analytics to meticulously monitor the progress of your strategy, adjusting as necessary for optimal results
  • Engage deeply with key stakeholders, actively collecting requirements, pinpointing opportunities and proposing inventive solutions to optimize business processes
  • Offer your seasoned expertise in technical architecture, design, security and the seamless implementation of Salesforce solutions
  • Design solutions that are both scalable and efficient, fully capitalizing on the extensive capabilities of the Salesforce platform
  • Develop tangible prototypes and proof-of-concepts, rigorously validating proposed solutions while ensuring alignment with pressing business needs
  • Embark on a journey of leadership, mentoring development teams in best practices, technical oversight, code reviews and guidance
  • Spearhead user adoption efforts by communicating, coordinating and overseeing training activities to maximize engagement
  • Maintain rigorous adherence to IT and business process controls as they relate to the Salesforce platform and associated systems
  • Foster robust relationships with third-party entities, optimizing both speed and capabilities, and in turn, propelling the platform to greater heights

Salesforce Architect Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in development, adept with APEX, VisualForce, and Salesforce
  • 2+ Salesforce certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an information technology discipline
  • Familiarity with Building Products, Manufacturing and multi-step distribution business models
  • Demonstrated expertise in systems design and integration, featuring tools such as Azure Apps, Mulesoft, Boomi and equivalent
  • Proven leadership experience in incident response, including escalation up to and including interactions with the Board of Directors
  • Strong leadership prowess and team player mentality
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
