LaSalle Network has partnered with the leading industrial automation manufacturer that is the end-to-end partner for companies looking to embrace additive and on-demand manufacturing by supporting clients with product design, engineering, testing, and validation, as well as global manufacturing and supply chain, to identify an experienced Sales Manager to join their team! The Sales Manager will drive the company's future growth engine by working with the Account Executive team to build the sales pipeline.
Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop, train, and lead a team of 8-10 experienced Account Executives
- Identify best practices in sales training, planning, and forecasting that place emphasis on gathering data and analytics in order to create a more effective sales team
- Build up the sales pipeline and amplify new client acquisition
- Mentor and coach the team in consultative and solution-based outbound sales skills such as campaign strategy, outbound execution, and nurturing interest to opportunities
- Collaborate with all departments to find solutions that will meet client needs
- Formulate sales strategies in by working with the Director of Sales and the other Sales Managers
- Motivate individual career growth of direct reports
- At least 2 years of experience in sales management
- Experience leading outbound sales and operations in an early stage, high-growth technology environment
- History of success in a pipeline generating or closing role
- Capability to hire and coach sales team to high levels of success
- Ability to develop and cultivate relationships with clients and industry leaders
- Passion for start-ups and new technology companies.
- Interest in building relationships with highly technical customers and ability to clearly communicate technical concepts
- Experience handling multiple sources of leads generation such as SDRs, prospecting, and marketing
- Understanding of tech platforms such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong
- Ideal but not required- experience within the manufacturing industry
