Job Description
We are working with a dynamic healthcare organization that is in need of a Revenue Cycle Manager. They are looking for someone to join their team to assist with process improvement, analyzing current policies, reviewing revenue cycle processes and implementing new systems as their organization expands nationally. This Revenue Cycle Manager will be onsite with our client in the Peoria, IL area.
Revenue Cycle Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily revenue cycle management support activities which includes, but is not limited to, medical claims billing, collections, accounts receivable and denial management
- Oversight of all daily processes pertaining to RCM accounts, workflows and personnel
- Responsible for determining financial indicators and KPIs as the insurance climate evolves
- Oversight of all bad debt/collections A/R
- Responsible for reviewing and maintaining compliance standards/protocols for RCM processes and procedures
- Responsible for leading monthly department meetings
- Responsible for leading monthly individual meetings
- Responsible for upholding confidentiality of HIPPA protected information as well as that of all clients, employees, and the corporation
- Responsible for collaboration to achieve monthly/yearly A/R goals
Revenue Cycle Manager Requirements:
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented and directed
- Works autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Manages effectively through modeling, continuous growth, self-awareness, compassion and leadership
- Communicates effectively and has strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excels in situations requiring problem solving and critical thinking
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management capacity
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 Coding and insurance claims processing
- Proficient in the use of EMR systems, MS Office and Microsoft Teams
