LaSalle Network is partnering with a third-party administrator to hire a Healthcare Benefits Specialist – 2nd Shift! This fully remote role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about helping others navigate their healthcare benefits.
As a Healthcare Benefits Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring members understand their healthcare coverage. This includes explaining plan benefits, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance in a clear and empathetic way.
Healthcare Benefits Specialist Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls from members regarding their healthcare benefits
- Explain coverage details, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing member questions and concerns
- Document interactions accurately and efficiently in the system
- Collaborate with internal teams as needed to resolve complex issues
Healthcare Benefits Specialist Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in healthcare benefits, insurance, or a related field is required
- Strong ability to explain complex information in a simple and clear manner
- Prior experience with third-party administrators is a major plus
- Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate multiple systems and applications
- Reliable high-speed internet for remote work
Pay starting at $18/hour, with opportunities for growth based on experience
