Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead our client’s high-performing sales team. As the Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in organizing, overseeing a team of 14-18 professionals, including Sales Managers and Sales Representees. Your primary responsibilities will encompass coaching, training and leading the team to achieve sales targets.  This position is remote, but prefer candidates in Midwest area.

Sales Director Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, including Sales Managers and Sales Representatives
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to major clients in various sectors, including pharmaceutical companies and commercial providers
  • Foster a culture of excellence, motivation and teamwork within the sales team
  • Collaborate closely with the General Managing Director to align sales efforts with organizational goals
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Ensure each salesperson effectively manages their own territory

Sales Director Requirements:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in sales and sales management required
  • Experience in industrial, commercial and healthcare sectors is preferred
  • Proficiency in technology and sales tools
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead a high-performing sales team
