Job Description
LaSalle Network is partnering with one of the country's best known service brands to hire a Regional People Business Partner, Field Operations. Partnering with the Regional VP to execute the field operations People Strategy, this operationally focused role will partner with all levels of field management teams and deliver business objectives.
This role is critical in staffing and selection, engagement and retention, performance management and associate relations and business performance improvement.
Regional People Business Partner, Field Operations Responsibilities:
- Partner with Regional Vice President and executes people strategy and key business initiatives
- Monitor operational KPIs, turnover and engagement and identifies under-performing stores and conducts purposeful store visits to assess root cause (minimum 6 stores/month); document findings using a People Purposeful Store Visit template; monitor progress and report insights and recognize improvement
- Aggressively monitor leading and lagging turnover indicators and partner with Store and District Managers to conduct stay interviews, build risk assessments and perform round tables to improve the associate experience.
- Calibrate top/bottom performers with market leader; partner and create development and performance improvement plans to close gaps; aggressively monitor and report progress to key stakeholders
- Provide performance management consulting to all levels of leadership
- Partner with RVP and DMs to achieve staffing plans and store complement; identify and escalate variances and remove obstacles
- Actively participate in the selection process and influence hiring managers to raise the talent bar and prioritize building diverse teams
- Partner to build onboarding plans for new leaders
- Execute people programs (talent reviews, performance calibrations, merit and incentive awards, engagement surveys/action plans)
- Serve as a change agent, reminding and reinforcing key messages
- Maintain strong associate relations and foster an inclusive, safe, and positive people culture
- Participate in the company's response to union organizing drives
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance with all applicable Federal/State/Local legislative requirements
Regional People Business Partner, Field Operations Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources (Business Partner) in a geographically disbursed retail, manufacturing or equivalent environment
- Has passion, high energy, ability to energize others, is hard working and has a high level of integrity
- Able to build relationships and connect with others at all levels
- Solid business acumen
- Experience handling associate relations issues and dealing with labor laws
- Well-developed written presentation, organization and editing skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, collaboration skills and the ability to contribute within a team setting
- Pro-active and solutions oriented; builds trust; connects with people; likeable, high confidence, low ego, coachable
- Demonstrated ability to influence and achieve results through others
