Job Description

LaSalle has partnered with a global company seeking a Commercial Real Estate Accounting Manager to join their team. The Real Estate Accounting Manager is responsible for developing accounting policies and overseeing all financial procedures. They will be a vital team member in the company.

Real Estate Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage property and corporate accounting departments
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for properties
  • Oversee all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with GAAP
  • Assist in forecasting future financial performance
  • Analyze budget-to-actual variances and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Utilize accounting software and other tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets

Real Estate Accounting Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or relevant field
  • CPA certification is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in property accounting or real estate finance
  • Knowledge of financial management software
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations and financial reporting
