LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading food manufacturing company in Bartlett, IL to identify an R&D Assistant to join their growing team!

Pay: $20–$21/hour
Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation, testing, and evaluation of new food product formulations

Conduct benchtop and pilot plant trials, accurately documenting all procedures and results
-
Support sensory evaluations and prepare samples for customer presentations
-
Maintain an organized inventory of samples and ensure proper labeling and storage
-
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to R&D protocols
-
Keep the R&D kitchen, lab equipment, and storage areas clean and organized
-
Record detailed formulation data and assist with report preparation
-
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards

Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:

1–3 years of experience in a restaurant, food manufacturing, product development, or similar environment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
