A leading national distributor and manufacturer in the food ingredient industry is seeking a Quality & Food Safety Manager to lead safety and quality programs at their flagship manufacturing facility. Quality Assurance Manager Responsibilities:
- Design, lead, and improve food safety and quality systems, including QMS, HACCP, HARPC, and GMPs
- Ensure full compliance with FDA, BRC, and other regulatory standards
- Lead audit prep and serve as primary contact for food safety and compliance matters
- Develop training programs and mentor team members in quality assurance
- Manage incident response, recalls, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain supplier and customer trust through best-in-class QA practices
- Quality Assurance Manager Requirements:
- 10+ years in Quality & Food Safety leadership, preferably in food ingredients
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results
- Deep knowledge of FDA regulations, GFSI schemes (FSSC 22000, BRC, SQF)
- Bachelor’s in Food Science or related field required (Master’s a plus)
- Certifications: HACCP, PCQI, Internal Auditor preferred
