I’m looking for a Public Relations Coordinator for our growing team at LaSalle Network. We’re a nationally recognized staffing, recruiting and culture firm headquartered in Chicago.
I started my career in Public Relations at an agency that wasn’t the right fit for me. Why? Because as a publicist, I wanted to pitch with a purpose. I wanted to find a company that I could stand behind and proudly represent. A company, that when featured in the news, I know would make a difference with the information that it shared with the public.
As a staffing and recruiting firm, we are helping people find careers they love; careers they can grow and thrive in. A career that will allow them to provide for themselves and their families. A career that their families will be proud of them for. On the flipside, we’re helping companies find people that will help their operations grow and contribute back to the local economies. We’re helping entrepreneurs live out their dreams of building growing, profitable organizations. This gives me purpose in my role. This fuels me. Because I know, the information we share around job-search tips or management/leadership advice, is helping the reader/viewer.
I started my career as a Public Relations Coordinator and have grown to be a Senior Manager over the last six years that I’ve been here. I’ve been fortunate to find LaSalle Network six years ago because I know I wouldn’t be the professional I am today without this organization. I’ve been challenged, pushed out of my comfort zone, encouraged and praised. I’ve learned what a strong work ethic means. I’ve understood the art and science of building lasting relationships with media contacts, ones I started my first week on the job and have grown over the last six years.
Since our founder, Tom Gimbel, started the company, we’ve been recognized by more than 100 culture and revenue-based awards, including being named to the “Inc. 5000” list of fastest-growing privately held companies for 11 consecutive years, Fortune’s “Best Companies to Work for in Chicago” and “Best Medium Workplaces,” Forbes’ “Best Professional Recruiting Firms’” and to Inc. Magazine’s “Best Workplaces” list.
I’m looking for someone who is passionate to learn, passionate to grow, and eager to contribute. If this is you, please apply by sending your updated resume to Heather Youkhana at email@example.com.
