This position has an hourly rate of $20 per hour, and the company is located in Buffalo Grove, IL
The Project Coordinator is a Healthcare/Customer Service position that offers the benefit of working in the healthcare field while in a professional office setting. The Project Coordinator will work one on one via phone with patients who travel with and rely on mobility equipment. If a patient’s mobility equipment has been damaged by the airline, the Project Coordinator functions as a case manager, handling each damage claim with the patient from start to finish. The Project Coordinator will work closely with technicians, airline staff and the patient to find a cost effective, efficient and compassionate resolution.
Project Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Review damage assessment results and making recommendations
- Coordinate with technicians to order parts and new equipment from dozens of manufacturers
- Work closely with a dynamic team of Service Specialists and Claims Specialists to ensure that customers' medical equipment needs are addressed
- Build relationships with manufacturer reps and negotiate pricing as needed
- Perform local assessments and repairs
- Handle local rentals and sales of new equipment
Project Coordinator Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; associates degree required
- Some experience providing customer service preferred
- Must be able to prioritize and multi-task various projects
- Great attention to detail and patience
- Computer literate
- Excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills
- Positive/contagious personality
- Must exude confidence over the telephone
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn and confidence to take occasional risks
