Production Associate (Temp Position)
Location: Skokie, ILPay: $20/hr+, based on experience
What Does The Production Team Do?
Our Production team handles all the bidding and purchasing of THD printed elements through a few web-based tools. Using these tools, you will be pulling specs, bidding jobs, communicating with suppliers, and confirming that all aspects of your projects are correct. Much of your daily communication will be with The Client account and operational teams along with other Production associates. Our team is well connected and very driven to assist in your success, along with our clients and their programs.

What’s the opportunity?
As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for a wide range of steps to produce several projects with high quality, on time, and within budget.
Primary Responsibilities

Job/Data Management in JMS (web-based bidding platform)

Update and maintain job status and production specifications

Download and input job details into JMS to initiate bids and production

Generate purchase orders through JMS and JDE

Distribute POs and communicate timelines and delivery dates to outside vendors

Upload final files and images on completed projects

Manage and review proofs and production samples for quality on every project

Manage job delivery and receiving issues

Trafficking projects from inception to delivery

Collaborate with all THD team members

Complete some administrative tasks

Work with team members to support the activity of projects, drive efficiencies/savings, implement process enhancements, and develop/document best practices

Participate in regular meetings to discuss client/project needs, share ideas, and be open to new ideas
The Skills and Experience You Have
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 2–3 years of experience

Experience working on web-based platforms

Proficient with Excel
-
Background in print production
-
Project management experience

Strong team collaboration skills
