Our client is seeking a results-driven Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and procurement efforts across multiple categories of raw materials. This role will play a key part in managing supplier relationships, executing sourcing strategies, and ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-focused procurement to support business operations.

The Procurement Manager will report to the Director of Procurement and collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Quality Assurance, R&D, Operations, and Marketing. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of category expertise, strategic sourcing capabilities, supplier management, and problem-solving through analytics. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving efficiency and value through procurement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the sourcing and procurement of raw materials across multiple product categories, ensuring quality, cost competitiveness, and on-time availability

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, mitigate risk, and enhance supplier performance

  • Oversee supplier selection, RFQ/RFP processes, and negotiation of pricing and contract terms

  • Monitor industry trends, supplier markets, and cost drivers to inform purchasing strategies

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with operational, quality, and innovation goals

  • Maintain accurate supplier records, pricing data, and contractual documentation in ERP and procurement systems

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and supplier quality standards

  • Support co-manufacturing and third-party relationships where procurement coordination is required

  • Lead or contribute to special projects, process improvements, and procurement initiatives as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in raw material or ingredient sourcing

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and influence decision-making

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Collaborative team player with the ability to also work independently
