Job Description

As a PowerApps Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying Power Platform solutions to meet the evolving needs of the organization. This role requires a creative and analytical mindset, coupled with a strong understanding of business processes and technology. 

 

PowerApps Developer Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand application requirements and design effective PowerApps solutions 

  • Develop custom business applications using PowerApps, Power Automate and Power BI to streamline processes and enhance productivity 

  • Customize and extend standard Power Platform functionalities to meet specific business needs. 

  • Integrate PowerApps solutions with other Microsoft and third-party applications 

  • Work closely with the IT team to ensure data security, system performance and reliability of PowerApps solutions 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PowerApps applications, providing timely support to end-users 

  • Stay informed about the latest updates and features in the Power Platform and recommend their adoption as appropriate 

  • Create and maintain documentation for PowerApps solutions, including design specifications, user guides and training materials 

  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support and guidance 

  • Participate in the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices 

PowerApps Developer Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 

  • Proven experience as a PowerApps Developer, with hands-on development and implementation of Power Platform solutions 

  • Strong proficiency in PowerApps, Power Automate and Power BI 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse and Common Data Service (CDS) 

  • Experience with integrating PowerApps with Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 

  • Solid understanding of data modeling, user interface design and user experience principles 

  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions 

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 

  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (desired but not mandatory)
