Our client, a food manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for all plant operations and continuous improvement activities across Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality and other support areas Apply today to join their expanding team!

Plant Manager Responsibilities:

  • Directly oversee production, maintenance, quality and other support areas
  • Ensures compliance with safety, environmental and quality guidelines and regulations
  • Ensure that all products are manufactured to specification and are of the highest quality
  • Utilizes data analysis and continuous improvement projects to optimize operations, enhance productivity and meet business objectives
  • Develop and maintain budgets for all areas of responsibility
  • Sets clear goals for managers and supervisors, measures performance and provides feedback
  • Measures performance through financial metrics (cost of operations, KPIs), employee welfare (retention), safety, quality (customer complaints, audit scores) and sales impact
  • Maintain discipline, morale and create a harmonious work environment
  • Any other additional duties assigned by supervisor

Plant Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in supply chain, manufacturing or engineering
  • 7+ years’ experience within a manufacturing environment, with 5+ years in food manufacturing
  • Experience managing large teams and developing that team
  • Excellent communication, organizational and reporting skills
