Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
Check and validate payroll prior to transmission through the automated banking system
Manage pay for annual or semi-annual bonuses including quarterly bonus, holiday bonus, and unused vacation
Review employee records for accuracy of employee data and approval of payroll deductions.
Payroll Specialist Requirements:
1-2+ years of work experience processing payroll
Prior experience processing payroll for a large national organization is preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
Experience working with a large payroll system such as ADP, Ultipro, Ceridian, etc. is preferred
