Job Description

Our client is a dynamic and growing manufacturing company (tripled revenue in 2023) that takes pride in delivering high-quality products to customers. We value innovation, teamwork and a commitment to excellence. As we expand, we are looking for a skilled Payroll and Benefits Manager to join the team and contribute to the success of the organization. As a Payroll and Benefits Manager for our client, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of payroll and employee benefits administration.   

 

Payroll and Benefits Manager Responsibilities:  

  • Accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll for all employees  

  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal payroll tax regulations  

  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and other perks  

  • Collaborate with insurance providers and brokers to optimize benefit offerings  

  • Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and facilitate open enrollment  

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll and benefits records  

  • Generate reports for management and regulatory purposes  

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance  

  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws, tax regulations and other relevant policies  

  • Implement and enforce company policies related to payroll and benefits  

  • Communicate effectively with employees regarding payroll and benefits matters  

  • Conduct workshops or training sessions to educate employees on available benefits  

Payroll and Benefits Manager Requirements:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred   

  • Proven experience as a Payroll and Benefits Manager or in a similar role  

  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations and benefits administration  

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
