LaSalle Network is partnering with a well-established legal entity in Chicago who is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support its accounting operations. Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain and update the general ledger
- Prepare and assist with monthly financial reports
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure financial data is accurate, organized, and compliant with internal controls
- Provide occasional support for administrative finance-related tasks
- 2–5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software
- 20–25 hours per week
- Flexible weekday schedule during standard business hours
- Fully onsite at the firm’s downtown Chicago office
