LaSalle Network is partnering with a legacy brand in precision hand tools to hire a driven, boots-on-the-ground Outside Sales Representative. Our client has been delivering world-class crimping, cutting, and specialty tools for over 130 years—and they’re looking for someone who can take that reputation straight to the customers.
This Chicago-based, remote role with travel requires strong relationship-building skills, self-motivation, and a strong close rate. With a $50,000–$65,000 base salary, uncapped commission, car allowance, and full benefits, the earning potential is strong for the right candidate.
Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities:

Build a client base through new outreach and repeat business

Deliver engaging demos that convert prospects into loyal customers

Manage territory with smart routing, time efficiency, and consistent follow-up

Stay sharp on competitor moves, pricing shifts, and market expectations

Log activity reports, sales numbers, and customer notes daily

Offer support after the sale to create long-term value
Outside Sales Representative Requirements:

Solid outside sales experience, ideally with tools, industrial goods, or manufacturing

Strong closer who can manage the full sales process and field objections

Self-starter who thrives independently and doesn’t shy away from travel

High school diploma required; bachelor’s in business or marketing preferred

Must be able to travel frequently and lift tool kits when needed
