They are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join their team as an Outside Sales Representative in the Dallas-Fort Worth area!
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of the business. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers in the transportation industry, with a focus on selling transportation parts and accessories. You will be the main point of contact for customers, providing expert product knowledge, delivering exceptional service and closing sales.
Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential customers, ensuring consistent sales growth
- Collaborate with customers to understand their specific needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
- Conduct regular check-ins with customers to assess their ongoing needs, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling and ensure customer satisfaction
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's product offerings, including trucking parts, accessories and related services
- Build and manage existing book of business
- Close sales deals as well as upselling and cross-selling products
Outside Sales Representative Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the transportation, trucking or automotive industry
- Familiarity with trucking parts, accessories and the commercial trucking industry is highly desirable
- Possession of a valid driver's license is essential for traveling to customer locations and attending meetings
- Must live in the DFW area
