This hybrid Operations Coordinator role is ideal for candidates coming directly from a 3PL or freight brokerage environment who understand the pace, urgency, and precision required to keep freight moving, especially high-value freight.
What’s the job?

Track and update shipment statuses throughout the day in TMS (McLeod)

Maintain steady phone communication with drivers to confirm load details and documentation
-
Manage email communication with carriers and customers, ensuring timely and accurate updates
-
Partner with dispatchers and account managers to resolve delivery issues and adjust timelines
-
Support daily operational flow for high-value freight, ensuring accuracy and compliance
-
Use Excel to log data, update trackers, and validate dispatch information
What’s needed?

1+ years of experience at a 3PL or freight brokerage (required)
-
Experience coordinating or moving high-value freight strongly preferred
-
Confident communication skills across phone, email, and internal channels

Familiarity with TMS platforms

Strong multitasking, organization, and accuracy in fast-paced settings
