Join a leading organization where you’ll play a crucial role in delivering a seamless onboarding experience for new hires! We are seeking an Onboarding Specialist to manage and enhance all aspects of the hiring process, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and exceptional service. This position is primarily remote with equipment pickup and 1-2 days of training onsite downtown. Onsite is required every other Wednesday at your nearest site location.

Onboarding Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the onboarding process for assigned business units
  • Serve as an onboarding subject matter expert, handling escalations and troubleshooting system issues
  • Partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to streamline onboarding processes
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations for new hires
  • Audit and process hire data across multiple HR systems
  • Assist candidates with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and onboarding system issues
  • Conduct and review background checks, fingerprinting, and physical clearances
  • Verify licensures, certifications, and education credentials
  • Handle sensitive employee information with the utmost discretion
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth experience for new hires
  • Identify process improvements and maintain up-to-date onboarding documentation

Onboarding Specialist Requirements:
  • HR experience with strong knowledge of onboarding processes
  • Ability to manage multiple hires in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve onboarding inquiries
  • Excellent written & verbal communication with a customer-focused approach
  • Experience navigating HR systems and ATS platforms
  • High integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Works effectively independently and within a team
