Job Description

A Chicago-based private equity firm is seeking an Office Manager to support their Executive office, due to growth. With 25 years of business and a diverse portfolio, this company is continuing to grow and evolve their workspace. 


The Office Manager will be responsible for owning the overall operations of the office and will work closely with the administrative team to execute board meetings and executive-level meetings and events. The ideal candidate will bring corporate office management experience and be skilled in facilities, budgeting, IT and meeting coordination. 


Office Manager Responsibilities: 

  • This position is responsible, in part, for office operations and workflow, facilities and space planning/utilization, purchasing, and records management. 

  • Manage the executive meeting calendar including external client and board meetings 

  • Plan and manage annual office budget 

  • Order office supplies and be point of contact for office vendors 

  • Provide tier-1 IT support including but not limited to new office equipment set up, onboarding and hardware management 

  • Organize and execute in-office events 

  • Provide additional support to the Executives as needed  


Office Manager Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of Office Manager experience required 

  • BA or higher level of education preferred 

  • Financial services industry experience preferred 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite 

  • Technical support experience preferred 

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
