LaSalle Network is partnering with a leading CPG company to hire a Maintenance Planner for their facility in the western suburbs. With 17 high-speed production lines and a commitment to operational excellence, this role is key to minimizing downtime and maximizing throughput. You’ll bring your organizational skills and maintenance knowledge to the forefront, planning preventive maintenance, managing work orders, and supporting the site’s transition from Maximo to SAP.
This is a day-shift role with flexibility (5 a.m.–2 p.m. or 9 a.m.–5 p.m.), with the requirement to overlap with shift meetings. If you’re detail-oriented, thrive in manufacturing environments, and know your way around a CMMS, we want to hear from you.
Maintenance Planner Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule preventive maintenance 2–4 weeks in advance for 17 packaging lines

Manage work orders from submission through closure in CMMS (Maximo transitioning to SAP)

Track tasks, prioritize maintenance work, and ensure timely execution

Coordinate with production teams, supervisors, engineers, and vendors

Oversee parts planning, inventory tracking, and availability

Generate maintenance reports in Excel; adapt to tools like Red Zone
Maintenance Planner Requirements:

Experience in a manufacturing maintenance planning role; packaging preferred

Strong CMMS skills (Maximo, SAP, or similar)

Skilled in work order tracking and preventive maintenance planning

Comfortable with Excel reporting and new software systems

Cross-functional collaborator, effective communicator

Understands maintenance operations but is not required to be hands-on
