Job Description
LaSalle Network has partnered with a global law firm in Chicago, IL to find a Legal Billing Specialist to join their team. This firm focuses on delivering world-class service and expertise, while also offering flexible billing arrangements to their clientele.

They work in a hybrid model and are seeking an "A" player to join their Financial Operations group in this critical role. The department offers a robust training program to position you for optimal success in the role and your career! Budgeted base salary for this position is up to $95,000.

Legal Billing Specialist Responsibilities
  • Assist with the monthly billing cycle by distributing prebills, resolving revisions on a timely basis and finalizing accurate invoices
  • Respond to information requests from attorneys, clients and administrative staff related to book of business and billing reconciliations
  • Utilize firm standard reporting tools to respond to requests from internal and external clients
  • Maintain documentation on client related procedures and deadlines, as well as billing attorney preferences
  • Assist department and firm leadership in ad-hoc requests and projects

Legal Billing Specialist Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • 2+ years of professional experience strongly preferred
  • Billing experience preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of business acumen and professionalism when working with internal and external clients at all levels
