Our client is seeking a Labor Compliance Specialist to join their team in the Lewisville, TX area. The Labor Compliance Specialist will be responsible for managing union-related reporting, ensuring labor compliance and supporting construction projects with required documentation. This role involves meticulous reporting, maintaining compliance with union standards and assisting with audits.

Labor Compliance Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit accurate union reports on a monthly and weekly basis
  • Ensure all reports comply with union regulations and internal standards
  • Provide comprehensive support for union construction projects, including preparing certified reports and required labor compliance forms
  • Assist in creating and maintaining craft class codes to ensure proper classification
  • Research and gather supporting documentation to address and resolve discrepancy notices effectively
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve any issues promptly
  • Assist with union and labor compliance audits by providing necessary documentation and support
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are met and maintained
  • Oversee subcontractor compliance with union and labor requirements
  • Track and verify certified payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance

Labor Compliance Specialist Requirements:
  • 3+ years previous compliance experience
  • Proficient in certified payroll, union fringes, prevailing wage and Davis Bacon
  • Experienced with project required labor compliance forms such as DAS140, DAS142, Fringe Benefit Statements, Labor Law Checklists, CAC2 and Union Status Letters
  • Good understanding of federal labor laws
  • Experienced with union fringe benefit reporting
  • Must possess analytical and troubleshooting skills to perform job. Examples include Discrepancy Notices, Daily Timesheet Audits, General Ledger analysis and Certified Payroll Reviews
  • Experienced with LCP Tracker, OCPS, DIR eCPR system
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
