Job Description

Network is currently partnering with a client in the healthcare domain that is seeking an IT Desktop Technician professional to join their team. This position is based in Indianapolis and the ideal candidate will work 100% onsite and be the lead person at this location. This is a 90-day contract-to-hire opportunity.

IT Desktop Technician Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary response for user requests to the Help Desk
  • Maintenance of hardware/software for Window servers
  • Maintain Active Directory and user settings/permissions
  • Follow procedures and guidelines (including documentation) for the Help Desk operations
  • Monitor and inform users on status of their support issues
  • Set-ups and/or upgrades and configures hardware, software, printers, and peripherals for users
  • Investigates and researches solutions for hardware and software problems that arise
  • Troubleshoots technical difficulty with PC hardware and software issues, Internet, network applications, configurations, and peripheral equipment
  • Assists in the maintenance of hardware and software inventory databases and/or catalogs
  • Adds/changes users and/or permissions and rights in Active Directory
  • Provides support and troubleshooting for digital meetings
  • Support for entity meetings, including the Board of Director meetings

IT Desktop Technician Requirements:

  • Associates degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years’ experience with Windows, Network/Internet environments, PC hardware, software, printer support and help desk experience
  • Network Administration and/or systems administration experience
  • Experience with technology, tools, applications, databases, and Internet technology
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Users and computers
  • Excellent customer service skills
