IT Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Evaluate internal systems and applications for functionality, performance, and process alignment
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders across the business
- Build current and future-state process maps, use cases, and functional specs
- Spot inefficiencies and design smarter workflows
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure business needs are met in every solution
- Create documentation, SOPs, and training tools to support system adoption
- Guide and support UAT activities and assist with change management
- Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of BA experience, ideally in a systems-heavy or IT environment
- Skilled in business process modeling and system analysis
- Fluent in tools like Visio, Lucidchart, and Confluence
- Strong communicator who can translate technical lingo into plain English
- Bonus points for Lean or Six Sigma experience
