Interested in joining a fast-growing, innovative design and production company located in Dallas, Texas? See below! Due to growth, our client is looking to bring on an Inventory Controller to join their team ASAP.

 

The Inventory Controller position will have a significant impact on the daily progress of projects.

 

Inventory Controller Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and reconcile hold statuses (NetSuite to bakery hold report, report to 3PL and hold report against Smartsheet) and available inventory details (lots, quantities, etc.)
  • Create a 3PL Daily Inventory Report; balance and identify gaps; notify impacted bakery of corrections needed and verify
  • Ensure that proper communication has been provided to and from 3PL regarding all product holds (email, EDI); publish daily Micro Hold Report
  • Ensure that proper communication has been provided to and from 3PL regarding all product releases (email, EDI); Inventory Micro Hold and Micro Hold in Transit Report, review of release notifications and saved searches
  • Act as intermediary for all routine contact regarding all holds
  • Assist in daily EDI error resolution, including transaction failures (Sales, Transfer, Purchase orders), as well as other technical issues as they may arise
  • Daily inventory reconciliation between all 3PLs and NetSuite; maintain 98.5% inventory accuracy between 3PLs and NetSuite
  • Manually update and reconcile EDI errors

 

Inventory Controller Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in FSQA, supply chain/operations, business or related
  • 3+ years of experience in FSQA, warehousing operations, distribution or supply chain function
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to pull and analyze data from multiple sources required
  • Ability to be assertive when needed to assure accurate and/or correct inventory management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed
  • Must have high attention to numerical and inventory detail
  • Results driven
  • Proven experience with building and implementing processes, routines and tools for process improvements and to deliver results
  • Ability to work effectively in multiple cross functional teams
  • Influencing skills, problem solving and organizational agility
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaborative team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • A positive attitude and a "roll up your sleeves" mentality to get the job done
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Office
