Inventory Analyst

LaSalle Network is partnering with an international renewable energy company. They are currently seeking a talented Inventory Analyst to join their team in Chicago. As an Inventory Analyst, you will play a crucial role in their supply chain management by creating purchase orders within the SAP system.  

Inventory Analyst Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and specifications
• Generate purchase orders within the SAP system accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain positive relationships with vendors
• Assess and manage risks associated with procurement activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable regulations
• Provide support in resolving procurement-related issues and discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and documentation

• Proven experience as a procurement specialist or inventory analyst 
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, preferably within a manufacturing or energy-related industry
• Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is highly desirable
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
